Rory Feek Shares Adorable Video Of Indy Singing Like Momma

In the months since his wife's passing, Rory Feek has learned a lot about himself and his adorable little girl, Indiana (Indy for short). They had to manage without Joey and raising a child by himself is something Rory never thought he would have to do.
Each day they grow stronger, and each day Indy surprises Rory in ways he could never imagine. Such was the case when their neighbor, Jan Harris came over to visit.
Now their interaction is going viral and it's easy to understand why! Being the child of two country music superstars means that it's only natural to have a passion for music – and that's exactly what Indy is showing as she gets older!
The spirited little lady loves learning how to play piano, dancing along with Dad as he sings and humming to her favorite Disney songs. But when Jan came to visit, Indy started doing something that left him totally speechless. Rory couldn’t be more proud of his baby girl....
Without warning, Indy started belting the words to the 1963 Inez and Charlie Foxx hit "Mockingbird." It's clear Indy must've heard the song before and she probably recognized the version Toby Keith and his daughter released in 2004. The tune is a perfect representation of the love a parent has for their child.
Jan sensed what an important moment this was for Rory and started to sing along with her while he recorded it all! This was a memory he didn't want to forget.
During their song, Rory saw a brief glimpse of his late wife peeking through and wanted their fans to see the same – that's why he decided to share the video of Rory singing on his Facebook page with the caption:
"Born to sing. Our sweet neighbor Jan Harris [was] singing with Indiana last night."
During the video you can see the love and excitement in little Indy's eyes, just like Joey had whenever she sang. Even though Joey may be gone her soul lives on through her precious baby girl.
Watch Indy sing her adorable little heart out here! Joey is definitely smiling down on her baby girl from Heaven.
