For parents with young kids who can't yet be left alone at home, tagging them around to run errands is just part of the parenting process! For kids however, who see play in everything, these outings are less work and more about a new way to explore and have fun!
Sherrie Kimber is a mom to three boys, one of whom is an adorable toddler named Carson. Sherrie and Carson recently found themselves in the grocery store to run a quick errand which Sherrie hadn't planned for.
The duo was quite efficient in the grocery store aisles, grabbing just the things they had run out to get. Then, it was time to check out and this is where things got very interesting and might be add, funny!
Sherrie who isn't easily embarrassed, especially by Carson's tactics, was in for a surprise when they approached a male cashier.
According to Sherrie, who later posted about the incident on her Facebook page:
"... today I can confirm I was indeed embarrassed. I had to make a quick run to the store, as I came to the "lady aisle" I quickly grabbed a package of Always (lady stuff), and Carson insisted on carrying it."
At the insistence of her mother, Carson processed to add the package of pads to the pile of other goods, but not before he had to make a very big announcement to everyone within earshot:
"... he turned to the man behind us and said as loud as he could "These are MOMMY'S DIAPERS!" Then proudly placed them on the checkout counter....."
Needless to say, poor Sherrie basically turned red with embarrassment. But as if that wasn't enough, Carson had even more sage advice to delivery to his mother in his loud voice. Here is Sherrie again:
"As the man tried to contain his laughter, as well as everyone around, Carson then turned to me and said "mommy don't pee in them, you pee in the potty!"
At least she can be proud that Carson knew so much about potty training, and that he is cute enough to be forgiven for his folly!
Sherrie's post has been shared over 30,000 times proving that a toddler with a big mouth is exactly what you need to bring laughter to strangers!
