Identical Twins Lock Eyes Then Sweep Audience Off Their Feet With Gripping Song Choice

Singing competition shows like The Voice and its mini-me version, The Voice Kids, have all seen a lot of acts come an go over the years. But, it's usually only one person at a time show graces the stage. It seems like twin singing acts are just as rare as the biological occurrence of the twins themselves.
When Elena and Maria showed up to "Say Something" with their harmonizing vocals on a Spanish-speaking version of The Voice Kids, the judges couldn't believe their ears. The audience could already see how many people were standing on stage, but with their backs turned towards the girls, it came as a delightful surprise to them when they heard two distinct voices suddenly drift into the air.
Although gazing upon identical twins in person can be a thrill due to their rarity in nature, the judges from the third season of The Voice Kids Spain were oblivious to the visual treat that sneaked up behind them. As they patiently listened to performers from the fourth round of blind auditions sing, they didn't think anything was out of the ordinary when one of the girls started to sing.
That's because at first it was only Elena, or was it Maria, who softly crooned the lyrics to "Say Something" by A Great Big World. When a second voice chimed in out of nowhere for a stunning duet, that's when the real magic started to happen!
Identical twins obviously look exactly the same, but sometimes they choose to take that oneness a step further by wearing the same outfits, much like Maria and Elena did. The pretty young ladies were both casually dressed in matching jeans and pink t-shirts, but just because their outer appearance made everyone see double didn't mean that their voices were exact duplicates.
Both Elena and Maria's voices had a sweet, charming undertone, but there were distinct differences in their angelic lilt. Although the difference are barely perceptible, it's something that's definitely meant to be heard as a duet. Of course, the real difficult decision for the judges is whether or not choosing a double act is the right choice for the show.
Historically, twin siblings have often been passed over in favor of those who were born with a unique voice that was all their own. Yet, it's Elena and Marie's unique combination of twinship that makes this performance worth hearing them sing "Say Something" together!
It's obvious that the judges are deep in thought in deciding what step to take next. The female judge can even be seen hovering her hand over the buzzer at the last minute. The only question is, is one set of twins twice as valuable as a single contestant, or is coaching an extra person on their team double the trouble?
Elena and Maria want the judges to turn around and "Say Something" about their performance.
