Enzo's family recently moved from the northern state to the southern state. The change in the environment affected his allergies so his owners decided to take him to see a vet for a checkup.
Like most dogs, Enzo was super eager to get on the car and be on that trip. However, as soon as the car started to move, he became more unsure of where they were heading. When the car stopped and he realized that they are at the vet, he started acting out.
He started whimpering and he even looked out the window to double check. When the idea finally settled in, he couldn't manage to sit down and stay still. His owners were holding back their laughter.
Dogs commonly experience fear whenever they are sent to the vet. Even the happiest canine will tuck its tail and show fear as soon as it goes through the front door of its vet's office.
Plus, they are exposed to other animals and that increases their anxiety level.
Additionally, there's the examination process. All this put together adds up to be close to the bottom of most dog's list of favorite things to do. And can't we agree, who really finds it fun to visit the doctor for ourselves?
German shepherds are just like any dogs. Despite their personalities and traits, they can still show uneasiness.
German shepherds like Enzo can grow to about 25 inches in height. They can weigh up to 95 pounds. Despite their size, they are well-proportioned dogs. Their ears are large and they stand erect. They have this thick coat that can be black, gray, tan or a combination of the colors. The breed has a long life span. German shepherds can live for about 10 to 12 years which is plenty of time to bring their owners lots of love and in Enzo's case, plenty of memorable laughs too.
Enzo's reaction to seeing his vet is just precious and hilarious!
