Children naturally have a happy outlook in life because they are able to find joy in just about anything. Whether it's seeing butterflies, being allowed to jump over a puddle or getting their favorite ice cream, they are always beaming with smiles. One good reason is that kids don't over analyze things and they don't assume anything negative about someone. They are just so innocent.
For little girl Baylor, she has two things to be really happy about: Beyonce and her corn dog. Those things really set her in a good mood that she started dancing on the family's kitchen counter.
Brooke Mooney, Baylor's mom, caught her little girl's performance on video and shared it on social media. You can just imagine the family's surprise when the video went viral. To date, it has over 13 million views.
That's really not surprising. Baylor's moves were just too cute. Dressed in an adorable yellow sweater with a top knot, she was all smiles as she was wiggling her arms and dancing. She was giggling and laughing which made her performance even more amusing.
Baylor danced to one of Beyonce's hits, "Crazy In Love." Released in 2003, it features the American rapper Jay-Z who also happens to be Beyonce's husband. The song was an instant hit in the United Kingdom and the United States. It was so good that VH1 actually declared it as the greatest song of the 2000's decade. It has won Grammy Awards for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration and Best R&B song.
The song was covered by different artists from around the globe. In 2003, for example, Mickey Joe Harte, an Irish singer-songwriter, recorded an acoustic version of the song. The Magic Numbers, a British band, performed it on an Australian radio station.
Additionally, the song was covered in different genres. There's the rockability style by The Baseballs, a German group and the jazz version of Jessica Mauboy, a runner-up on the 2006 Final 6 Big Band show.
With so many artists taking interest in the song since its first release up until now, it's not surprising to find a little girl getting extremely happy because of it. The song is clearly an upbeat one. Its rhythm and melody can easily snap out any person from a bad mood or negative thinking.
And when you add the yellow sweater and the half-eaten corndog, you' won't be able to stop yourself from smiling. It's a sight you don't get to see every day.
Baylor's smile and dance number can easily brighten up anyone's day.
