Even for adults, singing in front of your entire country is something that would cause that feeling of butterflies in your stomach! But for these three talented little singers, it's the opportunity of a lifetime.
The moment they stepped onto The Voice Russia Kids stage, it was clear they were ready to deliver a chilling performance of John Lennon's "Imagine." Their voices mesh perfectly and the judges are stunned by how skilled they are, despite their young age.
While most people know that John Lennon wrote and recorded "Imagine," it's a little-known fact that the lyrics of the moving song were inspired by several poems written by Yoko Ono. Even though John didn't credit his love at the time, he later admitted that she deserved a fair portion of the credit for "Imagine."
Yoko's poems in a collection later called "Grapefruit" combined with a Christian prayer book the couple received from Dick Gregory helped form the song as we know it today. The words depict a world without war, hate and tension.
Instead, people are filled with love, care for one another and help each other in their time of need! It's a song that so many people love, no matter what generation they're from.
The hopeful nature of the tune makes it an inspiration to people all over the world, young and old. So when these talented little ones step on The Voice Russia Kids stage, they know how powerful the message is that they're about to deliver.
