Horrible Truth Behind Couple Filmed In Vegas Chapel

We've all heard the saying, "What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas." Well, that's usually what you say when you've done something really bad, or embarrassing. But, what happens when you get hitched to your true love inside a cheesy Las Vegas wedding chapel? Wouldn't you want the whole world to know that you've finally got a ring on your finger?
Most Las Vegas weddings that are captured on film are of happy couples that have decided to take a last-minute plunge, and just go for it! So when surveillance footage captured a couple inside of a wedding chapel in Las Vegas, not a single person suspected anything off about them. Turns out they were all wrong.
Virginia Paris had just left work when a car pulled over in front of her forcing her to come to a stop. The driver of the other car suddenly jumped out, and forced his way into Virginia's car. She was stunned to discover that she knew the man - he was an acquaintance of hers. But, instead of striking up a friendly conversation, 52-year-old Joseph Hetzel ordered the frightened 55-year-old woman to drive them to Las Vegas. Although Virginia didn't realize it at the time, she was about to become the unwitting star of a surreal 4-day nightmare.
Once in Las Vegas, the kidnapper forced Virginia to marry him at The Little Neon Chapel. Surveillance footage shows the "happy" couple cuddling and kissing. Joseph can be seen putting his arm around his would-be wife's neck and holding her tight, but this wasn't a loving embrace - it was an outright act of intimidation.
Virginia told Inside Edition that she was in fear for her life and tried to leave the chapel at one point during the wedding. Unfortunately, Joseph grabbed her and forcibly dragged her back to the altar. Sadly, no one in the wedding chapel suspected that they were witnessing a very dangerous situation unravel right before their eyes!
After the wedding ceremony was over, Joseph let Virginia call her daughter. The young woman immediately knew something was terribly wrong with her mother, especially when Virginia mentioned how much she loved her family.
Once the couple arrived at the Railroad Pass Hotel and Casino, Joseph gave Virginia some money to check into a room. When she walked into the lobby by herself, she knew that was her chance to make a fast getaway! Joseph sent Virginia in alone because he didn't want to be caught on surveillance camera, but that fateful mistake proved to be his undoing.
