Man In Red Christmas Sweater Visits Mall Brightening Everyone's Day Moment They See His Moves

It seems Christmas time comes earlier and earlier every year, but we can't figure out why anyone would think that is a bad thing.
Yes, the modern holidays can be stressful. For those struggling financially, buying gifts can seem like a burden. Families that are spread out and busy have a tough time coming together. Those of us who are lonely, often find the holidays to be the loneliest and saddest time.
Yet, it doesn't have to be that way. Sometimes, all it takes is seeing some young guy in a ludicrous Christmas sweater dancing like no one is watching, when in fact watching is precisely what he wants.
In the age of YouTube, the best way to get views, it seems, is by stoking controversy. Pulling "pranks" or conducting dubious "social experiments" all seem meant to make people look bad. Yet, one YouTuber wants to do it differently.
Preston Leatherman is known not for making others look silly, but rather sharing how joyous it feels to act silly yourself. In one of his popular video, he gets into the spirit of Christmas at a local shopping mall.
Listening to Mariah Carey's original holiday classic "All I Want for Christmas is You," he dances all over the mall, by himself and even with window mannequins!
Released in 1994, Mariah Carey's Christmas album may still seem "new" compared to other Christmas classics like "White Christmas" or "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree." But for Preston, it's been around just as long, meaning as long as he's been alive.
Of course, what he thinks of the music is all that matters, really. You see, Preston isn't out in the mall with a boombox blasting tunes. Nope, he's using the primary musical device of his generation: an iPod. (Well, technically, an iPhone. Does Apple even sell regular-old iPods anymore?)
This means that, to everyone in the mall with him, Preston just appeared to be going crazy to music no one else can hear.
Yet, despite how strange it looks, Preston's heartfelt and exuberant dancing doesn't annoy or encourage funny looks from people around him. In fact, those who do pay any attention to him at all, can't help but smile.
Whether he's jamming out in a department store, busting a move in the mall hallways, or kicking it in a convenience shop, people love it. Everyone gives him, and the person filming it all, big smiles and laughs.
Honestly, holiday shopping may be the real worst part of the holidays. Crowded stores where patrons are all competing for the same sought-after or on-sale gifts.
Yet, Preston's dancing video reminds us that at the holidays aren't supposed to be about all this stressful stuff. They are about joy, and if you've lost that feeling, maybe give dancing in the mall a try?
